Why We Started Paraguay Compass
Paraguay is one of the most underrated countries in the world for Europeans looking for a fresh start. John
John manages client relationships, strategy, and the European-facing side of the business. He handles all communications with clients in Dutch, German, and English.
With a background in digital entrepreneurship and multiple business ventures, John brings a structured, professional approach to every client engagement. He believes that relocating to another country should not require navigating chaos, and built Paraguay Compass to prove it.
Jean Paul
JP is the operational backbone of Paraguay Compass. Based full-time in Asuncion, he manages the entire on-the-ground process: gestor relationships, government office visits, document handling, and client accompaniment.
Having lived in Paraguay for several years, JP has deep local knowledge and an established network of professionals, from lawyers and accountants to real estate agents and insurance providers. When you arrive in Asuncion, JP is the person who meets you, guides you through every step, and makes sure everything runs smoothly.

Path to Citizenship
After 3 years of permanent residency, you can apply for Paraguayan citizenship and passport. Paraguay allows dual citizenship.

As a resident, you can live, work, and travel freely across MERCOSUR countries: Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, and associated nations.
